The Ansari Fellowship Program seeks to encourage and empower young Iranian-Americans to pursue careers in public service.
In its inaugural year, the program awarded two fellowships to exceptionally qualified undergraduate and graduate students. With the support of the Fellowship, recipients were able to carry out unpaid summer internships in public service. We are exploring ways to increase and expand the opportunities available.
Our mission is to help give rise to an unprecedented generation of Iranian-American leaders in the field.
This fellowship allowed me to sustain my externship at International Center for Not-For-Profit-Law (ICNL) and pursue my narrow interest with more confidence. I am thankful that the Ansari Fellowship invested in me and my passion to pursue a field that is increasingly crucial for global stability and the progression of humanity.
— Parisa Pirooz, 2017 Graduate Fellow
An initiative of the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian-Americans, the Ansari Fellowship Program is funded by Bijan and Fariba Ansari, and founded and managed by Yassamin Ansari.
